Overview
eLOT sp. z o.o. is one of the first investments of Future Mind, in 2010. Service is focused on couple of attractive Internet domains and goes between airline tickets sale and travel services.
eLOT.pl in cooperation with Future Mind has launched the next sale channel for air tickets. The company, in addition to the website www.elot.pl, has set itself the goal of creating innovative solutions based on the popular mobile platforms. We’ve recently created the Bilety eLOT application, which appeared on App Store in October. In early November, the new version for phones with a mobile operating system created by Google will be available on Android Market.
The basic function of these mobile applications is to enable the owner of the smartphone to find interesting routes between two points at any time and to rule the details such as price or departure and arrival time.
Additionaly, thanks to Bilety eLOT, the owner is able to book the ticket directly from the phone, via dedicated helpline. The application also presents the current haulier promotions on specific routes.
Developers of the application promise more amenities in the next updates, such as the possibility of booking directly from the smartphone (no need to call the helpline), maps of the routes, travel guides and an information database on carriers such as the permissible dimensions of the registrateg and hand luggage.
“In addition to the iPhone and Android application, we’ve launched the function of searching flights directly via Facebook. We are working on technology that will allow us to transfer the whole booking process to the Facebook, so users won’t even need to leave this site. We’ve also planned some interesting contests with the great prizes, so stay tuned. I think that Facebook users are gonna like it, as they will include an element of competition, that we hardly see nowadays. " – says Tomasz Koperski, CEO of eLOT Sp. z o. o.
Future Mind is the apllication’s developer, whose representatives have already announced more applications on mobile platforms.
