Future Mind's operations during COVID-19 pandemic

Dear Future Mind Clients and Partners,

In this time of uncertainty, we hope that your families and colleagues remain safe. Considering the current situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemics, on behalf of Future Mind Employees and the Management Board, I would like to inform you about a set of procedures which we have recently implemented, following the recommendations of national authorities, in order to ensure the safety of our staff and flawless continuation of work on your projects.

As of March 16, 2020, by resolution of the Management Board, in order to protect the health of our employees and their families, we have closed our offices in Warsaw and in Tychy, switching completely to remote work. Before this decision was made, we made sure that all of our employees who so far worked in our offices are equipped with all the tools they need to communicate and work effectively.

As in the case of many other software development companies, our staff frequently took advantage of their ability to perform their work remotely. It is made possible by the character of the tasks we perform and the set of tools and control mechanisms that we have used throughout the years of working with our software development teams. In addition:

  1. In order to improve the effectiveness of our communication in everyday work, we have implemented a push-to-talk solution, which allows immediate conversations between participants of a given project, regardless of their location, just as if they were still sitting desk-to-desk.
  2. All of our employees have been provided with the equipment which they need to organize comfortable working conditions at their homes.
  3. We are monitoring information regarding the pandemics and we remain in constant contact with our staff, making sure their morale remains intact and taking care of their wellbeing, both during and after work.

In practice, the only noticeable difference will be replacing physical meetings with effectively run video conferences. Based on over a decade of experience, we are certain that working remotely will not influence the quality of our services or our efficiency.

I’d like to assure you that I personally remain at your disposal. In case the situation at your company or regarding the project which we are working on together suddenly changes, please contact me directly or through our Head of Operations Bartłomiej Roszykiewicz .

With regard to any urgent matters please contact the Future Mind employees who so far worked on your project. They should be the ones who convey this message to you on my behalf.

I wish everyone to stay healthy and that the situation is quickly brought back under control so that we can go back to our regular mode of operation. And please remember, let’s #FlattenTheCurve together.
