Back in 2017, with over 5600 locations already in operation across Poland, Żabka wanted wanted to make lives easier for its franchisees and gain data about the functioning of its stores.
Managing such a robust retail network was getting increasingly complex.
The company realized it was time to improve its processes with technology, and we were happy to help make it happen.
To make that happen, we would need to validate all the ideas and assumptions with both business stakeholders and the prospective users.
Working according to Google's Design Sprint methodology, we organized a workshop with Żabka franchisees, decision makers, and representatives of all internal departments that specialize in analyzing user needs.
and instantly perform an initial filtering of the ideas we came up with.
After we compiled the inspirations for use cases and features, the Client prioritized them, and we selected the final set of functionalities that would bring the most value to franchisees.
We focused on tracking store performance including data about real-time retail and allowing the users to generate detailed reports about separate stores.
where we designed a software concept and built a functional, clickable mock-up. We made sure the prototype resembled the final product as much as possible so the users could verify it in real-life situations.
After implementing the learnings from the usability tests, we were ready for the next phase of the project – developing a mobile application for Żabka franchisees.
Future Mind has accompanied Żabka on the path towards dominance in the CEE convenience store industry
