2024 wasn’t easy for the IT industry by any means, with many businesses revising their business strategies and slowing down investments due to AI explorations. Nonetheless, Future Mind succeeded in navigating the turbulent times with resilience. The ongoing business relationships keep yielding satisfactory results, while new opportunities to venture into new sectors keep appearing.
The Polish retail sector is doing quite well, maintaining its growth. Companies keep investing in new technologies, primarily with the goal of strengthening and optimizing digital channels in the fight over consumer attention. Adopting hybrid sales models at brick and mortar stores to adapt to customers’ behavioral changes also gains popularity.
This open-minded attitude is reflected in Future Mind’s projects. Our long-term relationships with retail clients are stronger than ever, helping our partners further develop their applications, such as the Biedronka app. Investments in B2C aren’t the only area of interest – more and more clients consider implementing B2E applications as well.
The goal of B2E apps is to automate the manual tasks of store employees, increasing efficiency, reducing errors, which ultimately leads to a more convenient experience for all customers. The leading example of this approach is Asystent Żabka.
TIM is another such example. The B2B m-commerce app we built for this company targets a highly specific audience, combining the refined design and quality of B2C apps with the unique needs of B2B users . Therefore, TIM has paved a new road for the electrotechnical sector, proving that even niche markets can use the newest technologies to their benefit.
It’s been a year since we joined the Solita Group, a technology, data, and design company. During this time, we’ve expanded on our knowledge and competencies regarding Data Strategy, Data Management, and GenAI, while sharing our own expertise on mobile development and retail. Now we’re ready to use that knowledge to transform the Polish business landscape.
This collaborative and supportive environment has allowed our employees to work on a wide range of projects for Scandinavian companies across industries such as manufacturing, pharma, travel, and telecommunications. We’re excited to take on even more projects and continue supporting Solita’s clients with data, cloud, design, and development capabilities.
We couldn’t be more satisfied with this partnership, notably due to the aligned work culture and values. We’re looking forward to the things yet to come.
Until this point, our focus has primarily been on retail. There, we developed and tested various strategies, including how to raise engagement and loyalty.
At the same time, we noticed that other industries started showing interest in the approaches popularized by retailers, taking note of the value they can bring to the further development of their digital products. Therefore, in 2024 we’ve started working with clients from other verticals, such as travel, healthcare, telecommunication, or energy. With this expertise, we’re now helping drive the transformation of digital products in these sectors.
Our current partners in these industries are:
In light of the current landscape, what can we expect to see in consumer products in 2025? Here are my top three predictions:
But there are also challenges appearing on the horizon, with one of them being the incoming European Accessibility Act (EAA) and the following accessibility requirements. To meet them, lots of work will have to be done on mobile apps and other interfaces. On the upside, it means that the digital world will become much more intuitive and easier to use for everyone, while businesses will be able to reach new customers and inspire loyalty.
