Ten years ago, Żabka wasn’t even considering having a significant online presence. Now, it is one of Europe’s most innovative and fastest growing convenience store chains as well as an undisputed industry leader in the CEE region.
At a dynamic and ambitious company like Żabka, strategy has to be continuously revised to reflect customers’ changing needs and preferences. Its first major digital transformation challenge was to implement a mobile app with a loyalty program and hyperpersonalized offers.
That was when Future Mind entered the picture – and Żabka has since redefined the meaning of convenience. The company is now well underway executing a remarkable vision of a tech-enabled business that takes full advantage of The Digital.

The company’s B2C app, żappka, has been downloaded 10 million times and is used by nearly one-third of people in Poland. It has achieved extreme loyalty by providing a previously unseen level of convenience, providing services like autonomous store self-service, parcel tracking and pickup, coffee subscription, and a transferable internal currency earned by making purchases.
Żabka stores are now highly automated and optimized by a complex AI-based system that helps franchisees manage their operations and assists shop floor employees in performing their tasks. The company also operates 50 fully autonomous stores.
