Head of Sales

Wanted: Head of Sales to help us shape the Future

What is the purpose of the role, why does it exist, and what will this person be required to do? 

The focus of this job is to co-create the strategy for generating new business, work on optimizing the sales funnel, take the leads which come through different channels and manage the process of qualifying them, scoring them, nurturing them and closing them, while maintaining the highest standards of communication and presentation with both peers within the organization and our clients. Nonetheless, the ability to connect the dots and identify new chances is highly welcome.

Outcomes

What specific results will the new hire be required to achieve within their first 12-18 months? 

  • Build working relationships with subject matter experts within the organization.
  • Optimize the flow of information between sales, analysis and subject matter experts throughout the process of generating offers within the organization to successfully present FM services and close deals.
  • Generate forecasts and meet sales targets.
  • Improve the quality of data gathered in the CRM system.
  • Develop the sales team through proper mentorship.

Competencies

What specific skills, behaviors and experiences will this new hire require? What are essential and what will be nice to have? 

  • Knowledge and understanding of different classes of IT software solutions, both from a business and technical perspective. 
  • Ability to draw up and present high quality, substantial and competitive offers High standards for conveyed offers based on previous experience.
  • Ability to form strong working relationships with subject-matter experts.
  • Experience in working on the basis of Account Based Marketing.
  • High effectiveness in closing deals with a proven track record.
  • Client service mentality and analytical mindset.
  • Understanding of bespoke software development process.

Placement within the company structure

Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Management Board, managing the sales team including direct responsibility for the results the team achieves.
